Bubbles Bubbles Everywhere

Since the hubby and The Future Engineer, my 7 year old, are off camping this weekend and The Teenager uses this house mainly as a rest stop on the weekends, my girls and I have had a weekend to just be girls. We started with the girl's night on Friday. Then yesterday we had lunch with my mom and went shopping. We are getting ready to do some remodeling on our bathroom and we needed to pick out a shower curtain to match our paint to. We spent several hours watching Gilmore Girls Season 3 on DVD which we borrowed from the library and was due yesterday. We haven't finished it though and 7 people are waiting in the hold line for one copy, so if we turn it back in it'll be months before we get it back! We'll try to finish today. Then The Princess had what will likely be her last bath in our old bathtub since some demolition in the bathroom begins today! There were TONS of bubbles. What started out as mommy blowing bubbles off her hand to make The Princess laugh turned into an all out bubble was which left all three of us very wet and soapy. A great time was had by all. The Princess said "That was the most fun ever!" We ended our night with more Gilmore Girls and polishing fingernails and toes with the softest pink polish and braiding freshly washed hair. It was really nice to just have my girlies here and get to be with them. This morning we'll be having some chocolate for breakfast and cleaning the scrapbooking stuff off of the table where it has been sitting since Friday! I've had a great time with my girls but I'm ready for the other half of my family to be home!

Well, chocolate doughnuts, but it's much more fun to just say chocolate!

I'm not a big chocolate donut fan, but I can go for the GG marathon.
