Blah!

It's Friday, which usually tickles me to no end, but not today since it's Generations weekend. This means I don't get to spend any time with my husband and it's been a really busy week already and next week looks even worse!
SB has to cheer at two basketball games tonight. Good news because our girls and boys both are in the championship games, bad news because it means SB will be cheering from 5-9 and I'll be there with the younger two. Fun!
We're also trying to get ready for the Pinewood derby next weekend. This year in Tiger Cubs has been challenging to say the least because, as any mom with children in activities will tell you, we live and die by the calendar. The den leaders do not. It's not unusual to find out the day before a meeting that 1)there is a meeting and 2) you need an empty coffee can and cookie tin. We don't drink coffee! It's been really stressful for me. Anyway, just so you get an idea of the people we're dealing with? The guy part of the den leader couple? He does side jobs of handy man type stuff? He constantly talks about all the times he's fainted in attics, fallen off of roofs, hit his head. The hitting of the head is beyond evident.

Is it wrong that I laughed? lol! Cuz I'm thinking if he's fainted, fallen and hit his head that many times? He "might" be doing something wrong. ;)

I hope SB has fun cheering tonight, but I guess when you read this it will be had fun.
Leaders in scouts are very challenging. They just never seem to think like how they might want to know things more in advance. SO they don't see it as a problem, by not telling the boys parents until the night before or that afternoon the they'll be meeting and what to bring. CRAZY
But you would think at least the wife of the leader would think to let the other parents know in more of a reasonable time.
