Dear Lady in the Costco Parking Lot,
How dare you. I do not know what you were thinking,but I don't believe that I've ever seen such an act of parental negligence with my own eyes. I don't get why you would leave a child alone in the car in the Costco parking lot in the first place, but to actually take the time to take your 2 year old out of the car and take him in all the while leaving your precious 4 year old girl in the car? What's up with that. Actually, I didn't even notice that you had done it even though you were parked right next to me, but 3 of my children did notice. My 4 year old precious girl tried to give you the benefit of the doubt by saying that maybe your daughter didn't want to go in with you. I asked her if she thought that I would ever leave her in the car even if she didn't want to go in. All 3 kids immediately said no.
I don't get it. I really don't. How much longer would it have taken for you to unbuckle this child and bring her in with you. What were you thinking? What makes you so careless with the life of your baby? Shame on you.

I'm a little pissed off at this lady.
I don't get it. That poor little one. I hope this mother does not leave her children in the car in the summertime. A totally horrible expericne for the child.
It is unbelievable that some parents do that.
I've gone so far as to call the police and report a woman for leaving 2 small kids, like 3 or 4 years old, in her car as she went into the mall. It was the middle of July and about 100 outside and she left the windows rolled up. I felt bad because I waited for a 1/2 hour before calling the police but I gave her the benefit of the doubt and thought she'd be right back.
I know she was arrested but have no idea what happened after. Those poor babies!
You should have called the police! What she did WAS negligent and she should have gone to jail. Those kids deserve to have the best care possible. They were not getting it on that day and I'll bet not any other day. If you really care, call the police!
