Monday Randomness
Not like any of my blog entries are anything but a jumble of random information, but...
It's Spring Break! That means only 9 weeks left until summer vacation! woohoo!! Today will be a lazy day to which we already have a wonderful start. The kids slept late and then we watched last night's Extreme Makeover:Home Edition. That show makes me cry. Every. single. time. It also makes me feel extraordinarily blessed. We all are.
The Cats lost yesterday, but they tried really hard. Villanova was ranked number 3 in the country and UA only lost by 4. Valiant effort boys! And hats off to Lute Olson. He's 71 years old and just signed an extension to his contract through 2011. In his 23 seasons at UA he's taken the cats to the tourney 22 times. Bravo!
I'm taking the two oldest kids shopping tonight. The Teenager because he won't. Stop. Growing! He needs some new clothes. And SB needs an Easter dress. You all should be praying for me as those two have direct opposite shopping styles. His: Buy what I need only and leave. Hers: look at everything I might ever possibly want to buy for myself or anyone else on the planet and even the stuff I don't want to buy just to make sure. Should be fun...
Last night I found no sugar added Rocky Road Ice cream. It is fabulous. Tastes better than the normal stuff. I am a happy girl again!
Srapbooking Friday night was fun. I got a bunch done and then yesterday finished up what I had been working on. SB's dance album is up to date. This week I want to get one started for The Princess and get the three older kids school albums up to date. And then...I'm going to work on the stupid quilt I was supposed to finish for Christmas!

Extreme Makeover always makes me cry, too. Darn that Ty Pennington anyway. That and the Amy Grant show they apparently cancelled. I'm still mad about that one.
I wonder if Lute would still be coaching at his age if his wife hadn't passed away. I think that is what he lives for now. Great man, though!
Have fun shopping! *snicker*
I only started watching Extreme Makeover after Three Wishes was cancelled. Becuase, you know, I just needed something to make me cry!lol!
Lute has remarried, but I do think he would be coaching even if Bobbi was still alive. They were a great team. I think it was what they both lived for.
Wow, I didn't know he remarried! Good for him :)
Have a great time shopping! I hope SB finds a dress. DId you find one?
I haven't looked yet. i'll look tonight so I can really annoy the teenager!
I'm tired just thinkin' about your busy schedual!
