Ridiculous!

So, apparently due to privacy laws, it has become "illegal" to hang up a student's good work in class. Why? Well you can't have a name and grade on the same paper for one, but the other part? We don't want to make the other children feel bad! This makes me want to scream!! We still give place ribbons for children who do well in sports! We post lists of who makes a team or whatever. Why on earth should the 100% that my child gets on a test NOT be hung up in a classroom if that's what the teacher wants to do??? SB's teacher is hanging up the work of students who want their work hung up and FE's teacher is ignoring the whole thing but I just cannot believe it's even come to this.

That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard in my life. I mean, haven't they ever thought of the fact that kids actually work harder to get their papers up on the board because it's a reward? Stupidness. Glad I'm not teaching anymore if it's come to that.

I'm VERY familiar with this dumb law. Pisses me off. And it all started with one parent complaining.
