Okay...

I know said I was leaving, and maybe I still am, but I had to brag for a moment!lol!

It's school conference time around these parts. The teenager doesn't have a conference, but did I mention that he has a 3.8 GPA??? Woohoo!
SB and FE had brilliant straight A report cards and both of their teachers said "Ummm...We don't have anything to say except that your children are great, so let's not do a conference this time." Fine with me. I mean I like to sit and listen to people brag on my kids as much as the next person, but it usually is a pretty pointless experience to drive to the school and spend 15 minutes waiting for the person in front of me to be finished(because I'm always behind the parent who feels the need to give the teacher their kid's entire life story!) and then spend 3 minutes listening to the teacher go on and on about how wonderful the kids are before she asks if I have any questions.(teachers usually catch up on their schedules when it's my conference time!)

Anyway, today was The princess' conference. I really didn't know what to expect. I know the Princess LOVES school and she has fun and she's been learning, but what was the teacher going to say??? Well, The Princess has already mastered every skill they are looking for in preschool, naturally since she's brilliant and also older!) but the thing she said that made me the most proud? What a kind and loving little girl the Princess is. She is so impressed with the Princess. She talked about how she is kind and plays with everyone and gets along so well. She said it's really amazing because, in particular at this age, the kids tell on each other all the time, but NO ONE has ever told her anything about the Princess. That's my girl. Sweet, kind, funny and brilliant. I knew it.

I loved those kind of conferences, too. Short and sweet and helps you catch up on your schedule...lol!

You know what? Well, you already know I love your kids, but I'm so glad that LG has such great role models in her life to look up to and learn how to be a kind and loving little girl. :)

And P.S. Your girls looks beautiful tonight. SB just looked so grown up! Gorgeous! :) And FE looked good, too. ;)

I'm glad they're good rolemodels for me too! Someone has to try and straighten me out.
