Almost Done!

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I just have a few more little things to get. a gift card for a teacher, a small gift for my MIL that she just told me she wanted (after I already had some other stuff for her!), stuff for stockings, and a couple more things for my hubby. I can do most of that with the Princess, but not the stocking shopping since Santa fills the stockings at our house.

Speaking of Santa, we're dealing with an issue that is trying my patience this year. FE has a good friend, his best friend actually, who doesn't believe in Santa. They just don't do Santa at all at their house. That's fine, I respect that. what I take issue with is this kid continually telling my child that Santa isn't real. There are plenty of people who choose to do thing differently than we do and I am teaching my children to respect that by not questioning the beliefs of others. I say to my children, that that is what so and so believes and we believe differently, but we don't need to tell them what they believe is wrong, its just different than what we do. So I take issue with people who don't allow my children their beliefs. In our house, Santa brings several of the gifts and also fills the stockings. And I want to keep it that way as long as I can. SB just this Christmas has stopped believing in Santa. So, if you don't believe? Or don't "do" Santa? At least have the courtesy to teach your children to be respectful of those who do! Just my opinion!

Poor FE to be in that place.

We don't do Santa like most people do, we just let the kids make up their own minds, what to believe and I wrap everything with tags with just the "to" name on them. (they'll all believed.) I think part of them knows, that we get their gifts for them, but there has to be a little magic somewhere in this world.

What did our MIL ask for for Christams? I can't believe she would ask for something this close. How much do I owe you for the scrapbook things? I ment to ask before, but forgot.

In our house, we're all way over the "santa" age, but we still get presents from him.

I still believe.

I've ran across that problem before too and it is frustrating. I just told Zach that other's might not believe, but we do!

Okay I'm attempting to post a comment one more time and we'll see if it actually WORKS this time.
