Would you like some cheese with that whine??

I KNOW I'm spoiled, okay, so if listening to me whine doesn't work for you, feel free to click the red x in the corner!

Mark goes back to work tomorrow and I'm sad. We always have such a lovely Christmas break and I always hate it when he goes back, so there's no difference this year, except he's going back before the kids do. The kids and I have plans, so it's not like we won't be doing anything, but I love having Mark at home...AND this weekend is Generations so it ruins the end of the whole break. Bah! Okay, I'm done whining!

We had a lovely trip to the zoo today and then went to the library as a family. I'm reading Bridge to Terabithia. There's a movie coming out and the kids really want to see it, but I keep reading people saying how much the book ruined them and shattered their childhoods so i felt like I should give it a read.

All of the kids have friends coming over tomorrow so the house will be full and busy. They were all asking, so I thought we'd just get it all over with at once. I think we'll have 9 kids here for lunch. Hmmm...what was I thinking??!!

I understand! I enjoyed having Mike off last week (well at least from his day job...lol!) and I'm sad now that he's back to work again. We had such a great week being together. You and I need to become independently wealthy so they don't have to work. ;) Except they actually like working and stuff. Darn them. ;)

Oh and have fun with that lunch tomorrow...lol!

First, that damn red x took me out of my whole window. thanks ;-)

Second, I loved that book. We read it as a class when I was in fifth grade. It was sad but I don't remember anything that was detremental (or however you spell that) to my childhood. I do want to read it again though.

Third, at least your boy is going to work in the same country ;-)

Fourth, why didn't I get invited to lunch?

I can't go any higher than four, so you got lucky.
