Over before it began...
The teenager's football career that is. I got a call from the team trainer today. He thinks the teenager may have torn the cartilage in his knee. Which might mean surgery. Which might mean 4-8 weeks on crutches after the surgery is scheduled. Which will mean he will not ever play. Which will suck since he's worked so hard to get where he is and is doing so well. I just want to cry...

Well man, that sucks. But let's try and think positively that maybe it's not as bad as it seems at first look and he'll get to play. But darn. :(
Hopefully the trainer is wrong. When will you be able to take him to the doctor's to find out for sure?
