Football-The Flag Edition-Week 3 (and randomness)

We played the team with the insane parents again this week. We beat them 18-6, but who's keeping score!lol! FE is so freakin' adorable out there. He has this "game face" that cracks us all up. I love watching him play. I also love all the time with my family. My brother and my mom and my FIL. We see them now every Friday night and every Saturday morning for the most part. It's awesome for my kids to spend so much time with them and it's awesome just to have the time together.
SB and I went dress shopping yesterday. She has her first dance coming up the weekend we get home from Disneyland and she wanted something new to wear. She's at such a hard stage because the girl clothes are too young, but the junior clothes are too old. We did eventually find something that she loves and is cute. I'll post pictures after the dance!
I made this recipe for dinner the other night. Everyone LOVED it! The Princess and I were watching Food Network last week when she was sick and she was adamant that I make these and YUMMO!! Good stuff. I think I'll do them for our Halloween dinner, but cut Jack-O-Lantern faces in the dough!
This week is all about getting ready for our trip to Disneyland. I'm so excited for a myriad of reasons. I love vacation! I love Disneyland! i love the time with my family, even though the teenager won't be with us for most of the time since he must be here for football. But, he is flying over for a day as a surprise for Mark. And Mark's mom and dad and aunt are joining us as well. he's going to be soooo surprised. And finally I'll be able to stop keeping this secret!lol!

I think keeping a secret from your husband is the hardest thing to do...lol! When Mike turned 30, we gave him an "over the hill" surprise party (can you believe we all thought 30 was old then? lol). It was a Sunday night and everyone came over and was there to surprise him when he got home from church...lol! I made the cake right under his nose and even asked him how to make gray frosting...lol! So he truly had no idea. It was great...lol! I'm sure this is going to be an awesome surprise for Mark! :)

And I can't wait to see SB's dress!!

I totally remember that party Karin!

I'm so excited for you guys, Marlene, and Disneyland! It's going to be great for you all.

FE's game face is very funny, I'm not used to him being so serious!
