Home Again, Home Again, Jiggity Jig
The Princess went home with a friend after school today. It's the first time I've let her do so (she is only in Kindergarten). I, of course, was a nervous wreck the whole time. I'm pretty protective of my children. I don't let them go home with just anybody. There are lots of questions asked. I don't like them riding in cars with anyone but me. I don't particularly like them being fed by anyone other than me. I just worry.I watched the clock the entire time until it was time to go pick her up!
But, I'm happy to report, the Princess had a wonderful time and is all in one piece! And maybe it will be a bit easier next time. Maybe not.

I think the number of times LG has ridden in a car with anyone but me or her dad is still able to be counted on one hand...lol! I'm not looking forward to the time when she goes somewhere that's not her grandparents' or the members of her "village" that we were talking about this morning. I'm sure I'll be a nervous wreck as well. If I ever even let her go...lol! I guess you'll have to talk me through that one. ;)
I'm glad the Princess is okay and had fun and you survived, too...lol!
Just puttin' it out there that both of you have had children ride in a car with me, and I'm glad to report they're both alive and well!
