Bonus!
Bubba called today! He got to make a 5 minute call as they are still in processing and haven't started basic. He said the food is horrible and they are taking away his contacts and making him wear glasses, but he's okay so far. No one has been mean yet since they haven't really started. He thinks it will be 5 days or so until he can call again, but I was starting to fall apart when the phone started ringing. I think God knew I needed to hear from my boy!

Basic training is pretty strict. Will he have to wear the glasses they issue him?

And I now understand why I never joined the military. I do not like being told what to do...lol! (And you know I'm soooo excited for you that he called!!!!!)
I'm very excited! Yea, he'll have to wear the glasses they give him, until basic's over. They're called BCG's. Birth Control Glasses because they are the UGLIEST things ever!
PS: when he can send you an address, can I have it too? I want my kids to write him letters, if that's ok :)
